Lush St. Lucia
There's something inspiring about relaxing on a beach with verdant mountains behind you. I love having more to look at than blue water, even though being in the water is one of my favorite pastimes. It is still nice to have a little green in the mix. St. Lucia is the perfect destination for both beautiful waters and countryside. There are the same water activities as on most Caribbean islands, as well as warm, volcanic hot springs to soak in or a gondola that soars through the forest. Or, spend a day on one of the many hiking trails. Hiking is such a romantic activity and a nice break from the beach. Bring a picnic and enjoy your time together. There is plenty to see and do on a St. Lucia honeymoon.

Having been to most of the Caribbean islands I agree that St Lucia is at the top of my list! The island is simply gorgeous and the choice of resorts is amazing. Everything from an open air room with private pool overlooking the Pitons to full scale all inclusive resorts with swim up pool bars and all the trimmings.
